Spotlight on... JOE

"Hello Joe, whadya know?"  The name's Joe Bailey and he occupies the lead guitar spot for Liecus.  First and foremost, he's a shredder.  Soft spoken and all business as he coaxes riffs from his guitar and weaves them into music beauty. 

What little time you see Joe without a guitar in hand... he'll appear to have a particular longing in his eyes as if without it, an integral part of his being is simply missing.  But don't worry, we don't let him get that way very often, and stopped playing keep away with his guitar. 

Joe is an incredible talent, and certainly adds a spice to the band that makes Liecus so very unique.  If you've seen them before, I know you'll understand the passion that Joe brings to the band.  If you've never witnessed a Liecus performance... well your life is sad indeed. 

Get out more... come check the guys out, and that CD release party is approaching gang.  Watch for it! And, force Joe to put the pick down long enough to have him sign it too!

FieldFest, 6/23/2012

A little Liecus headlining action!!!  And the rest of this lineup too, all for just $10?!?  Throw in camping, drinking, and any other  --ING you wanna throw in there, and this just has PARTY written all over it folks!  FieldFest, Saturday June 23rd, 2012.  Mark your calendars now.  See you all there.

Spotlight on Greg...

Say hello to the newest member of Liecus... Greg "the fertility god" Breeden.  (Greg has also welcomed his own newest member to his own little band, baby Savannah.)

Greg brings an energy to Liecus that is nothing short of infectious, and it is this that has already solidified his presence as one of the guys. 

Whether he's driving the set forward on bass, providing backup vocals, or just rockin' the stage, Greg is a tremendous force and brings a lot of power to the band. 

But don't let that tough rocker exterior fool you, Greg is a great guy and is always willing to stop and talk with the fans, and flash a big smile for the camera. 

So, at the next show if you can slow him down long enough... get to know Greg.

Upcoming shows

The Liecus boys hit the road again in their next couple of shows.  If you find we're heading to your neck of the woods, come on out and give us a listen.  Or if you're in the mood for a short drive, road trip to one of these two upcoming shows.  Everyone loves a party! 

First up, June 15th, 2012 Pat's Bar and Grille in St. Albans with Zeroking and White Chapel District. 

And then, on June 23rd, 2012 Liecus headlines FIELDFEST in Newport, Ohio.  This is an All Ages Show for all our lil' rockers!  The lineup includes Sacra Via and Mouth Wired Shut among many others.  This is an outdoor event, tickets are $10 and camping is encouraged!

We genuinely hope to see you there.  It was great to see all our fans come out last Sunday, at The Fishbone for the My Darkest Days show.  Thank you all for your continued support!

Spotlight on... ERIC

Cast the spotlight on... ERIC SEEVERS, the axe man, guitarist for Liecus...and master of the 1,000 yard stare!  Go ahead ladies, SWWWWOOOOOON, you know you want to, right now.  Go ahead, I'll wait.  And no, you cannot have the belt buckle.

All kidding aside Eric brings an intensity to Liecus with his shredding chops on the guitar, and is a big part of what makes the band so special. 

Always ready to mingle with the crowd, pose for a picture, he is very much aware that without the fans... there wouldn't be a Liecus. 

He, along with the rest of the guys are excited to release Murder of Crows VERY SOON!
